Well This Is Something You Don’t See Every Day of the Day: An owl that crashed into Sally Arnold home in Kendal, Cumbria, left a Patronus-like imprint on her window.
Said Arnold: “Our first concern was for the welfare of what we suspected was an owl and we opened up the window to check if it was still around. Fortunately, there was no sign of the bird and we can only assume that it had flown away probably suffering from a headache.”
According to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, some of the tawny owl’s “powder down” — a substance that protects growing feathers — rubbed off on the window, leaving behind a uniquely well-defined silhouette.

This has happened at my mums place way too many times, only with sparrows, minor birds and magpies though. Unfortunately some of them hit the window so hard they practically explode. The clean up afterwards was never something I enjoyed.

It was my birthday yesterday. Work gave me two days off for it. My second day will be spent in bed, eating and watching sex in the city.

+ feeling loved, the ring on my finger, my new car, clean house, lost weight, more hours at work, more responsibility at work, regulars at work, muffin break salads, juice box’s, strawberries, dinner dates, cuddles to sleep, I love you’s, surprises, new clothes.

- ex partners and situations involving ex partners, people who done mind their business, people who play both sides, people who trust to easily, ape ing time with people I don’t really like to keep the peace, cold mornings, strong winds, bad hair days, break outs, tan fading, lack of time, Western Australia, constantly feeling like there’s someone I have to explain myself to, people who don’t at least try to understand others perspectives.
